Well it seems to be the time for new and me. I recently got a new car (a 2006, scion XA), a new bicycle and some new clothes. I needed the new car... my old escort was shaking like crazy and it worried me that with my crazy hours and it being a new-ish work place for me that if it broke down it would be worse than just a break down. My new car is under warranty as well as it runs like a dream. Its nice to have a car that I don't have to worry about!!

I also got a new bike yesterday!!!! My best friend out here, JT, bought me a sexy orange beach cruiser! I had been wanting one ever since I moved here... there is a bike shop right on the corner of my street and they had the prettiest orange, curvy (Schwinn -like) frame. Well I've been saving my money and telling Jt about it.. and she surprised me by sending it to my house!!!! Its so pretty!! I can't wait to get a basket, a boom box and cruise down the beach!!!

I also splurged and got myself a new sundress the other day. :)

Thats about it. I'm excited for the weekend and to get our on my bike!!!

So I wake up at 3 in the morning to go to work. my 3:30 I'm out the door and walking on the street to my car. The street is well lit and i always feel very safe when walking to get to my car.. now i get, its L.A and i shouldn't be lured into a false sense of security, but i find it funny that when I'd leave my house in SLC at 4:30 in the morning, i'd be scared to go to my car that was in my driveway, where i had my dogs also keeping watch.... a little odd.

Anyways, don't know if you've heard but we've had a few earthquakes here recently. There was one last.. I think Sunday. It shook my whole house and moved a big grandfather clock, from against the wall to 6 inches away from it. It was crazy. Then a few days later we had another little one while I was at work. Welcome to earthquake season... lol I actually have no clue if there is a season for earthquakes, I find it doubtful. oh well at least its not tornado and/or hurricane season. lol but there, maybe thats that false sense of security again... I don't believe in earthqauke season lol

So last night I decided to go back to having red hair. I've been blonde for about a month and it just wasn't cutting it. It was crazy though, there are a few things that, when I really want to feel like "me", do the job and apparently having red hair is one of them. I was blowing it dry and literally felt like. "I'm back!!" Ps, the other thing is to wear tank tops. I could throw on any piece of clothing and feel alright but as soon as the tank goes on.. its like a sigh of relief. I know it sounds weird...

not the best picture, but shows the color well!.. Coincidence.. wearing a tank top.. LOL

OK, so L.A. is totally a Dog town.. and it's killing me. I drive to work in the afternoon and there are people walking dogs everywhere.... This morning they had a dog adoption on the TV... I miss my dogs.
There are days I just need a Friend, someone who won't judge my hard times and just love me no matter what. A friend to cuddle and hold as well as play and be routy with. I've had dogs my whole life and this is the first time I've ever not had a dog to be that friend for me..
When I was having a hard time in my marriage, my baby Owen, would be there for me. I miss him so so so so SO much. I also miss my other two dogs, Nigel and Riley, but they have been more family dogs and Owen Is generally mine. My Family got together on Moms day and took pictures of him for me.. I know I'm not a real mom but it helped to know he was doing OK.. ( and so damn cute with his haircut!!!)The picture above is of him as a puppy. Cutest thing ever I think.
I hoping that when my lease is up, I can move to a place that will achomidate Owen so he can move out here with me.
Oh and My new name out here is Taylor-made! I had that song on my facebook because it reminds me of my house. Every time I walk in and say hi, the whole house goes "taylor-made!!) I like it. :)

Well this is my first blog on here. I signed up to be able to access my sister's blogs and thought well hey this will be a good way to update my family as well. So here it is.

I Recently moved out to Manhattan Beach, California, from Salt Lake City, Utah. I guess its not too recent, the days have flown by.. its already been almost 2 and a half months!!! The job I moved out here for is a little crazy but I love it. The only problem is the money. I was moved out here and budgeted out for a good amount of money. My budget was going to give me a little extra money to put into savings and live comfortably, then about a week or two after I got here, the whole company did pay cuts. Every employee lost at least 5% of their salary. Myself included. So now I live pay check to pay check but its not too bad, I have a job, a roof over my head and can afford food so I'm grateful.

So this past weekend I had my first L.A celebrity experience. It was hella cool.
My roommate, his Brother and I went driving around and decided to check out the houses in Beverly Hills. We were driving along and saw this over-grown hill with small steps leading up it.. Well we decided to park and go up those stairs, thinking it was a really cool looking hiking trail or something. The further up we went, the nicer and cooler it got. it was like a rain forest mt side and then lead to amazing views of L.A.. Then as we continued adventuring along this stair trail, we came across the most gorgeous home I've ever seen. As I was taking pictures, my two buddies saw the owner of the home coming around the corner and took off.. I decided to stay and say hello. I figured, hell the worst that could happen is he tells us to leave, the coolest thing to happen is we make friends with a rich person who has an awesome place!! It turns out he wasn't mad and lead us thru his home. It was amazing! check it out!
