So many things have been happening! I titled this "So Much" because there are So Many So Muches (lol) right now!!

Firstly, I finished my wedding consulting class and it was superb. I learned so much and I feel pretty prepared to jump into My wedding consulting/planning. I thought I'd have a little bit of time to further research and whatnot but it as turns out... I will have a Reception Venue to work out of within a month and a half to two months! Let me back track and tell you how it all happened!
My Teacher, Mentor and now Friend, Debbie Peysar is a BIG DEAL here in St George. She practically is The St George wedding circuit. She has her own Wedding consulting business and then has a hand in all things wedding related...running her own bridal mag, starting construction on a new reception center, running the bridal show, etc.. She gave me the best news a week ago: She found a place that was willing/wanting to re-model to be a reception center. She gathered two other seasoned planners and myself and asked us if we would be interested in designing the re-modeling and then being the preferred planners for the venue once it was/is finished. The owners of the venue are willing to pay for it all so all we do is go in, tell them how we want it and then plan out of it once its open!!! Hows that for exciting!?! I have so much to do to get everything together and going in just a month and half!!! But I am up to the challenge! I admit, I am a little scared and nervous but I am also excited as well! I just keep getting this feeling that if I let my Fear of Failure take over I'll never succeed in anything, So its not an option! No matter how hard it is or how much I have to do (and believe me its A LOT!) I have to keep going and learning and tell myself that I can do it,even if I am scared or nervous. Maybe all those quotes are starting to sink in! :P I also just keep thinking back to high school.. My senior year they put on the musical of Footloose. I'd decided that I wanted to be involved in As many things as possible my senior year So I decided I would try out. It involved a Dance try-out (erg yeah I am a horrible dancer!) an acting try-out and then a Singing audition. I knew I could act and I knew that I could stumble through dancing and still be ok but I had never been known (and still am not) as a good singer. But I decided I would practice and teach myself to sing the audition song and see how it went. I knew I had the possibility to sound decent so I went for it. One trip to the library, hours of listening to the Broadway Soundtrack and trying to sing along later, I felt ready. I walked into that singing audition and we were given the option to sing in a group or alone. I wish I'd had the guts to go it alone but I opted for the group. I sang as best as I could and the instructor asked me to sing it again alone. I did and A lot of people came up to me after and said they didn't know I could sing ( I didn't either until I tried!!) I ended up getting a solo song in the musical and I loved every minute of it. And I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I just felt I could do it and I did! I put my mind to learn to do something and I did and got a solo in a musical because of it! So I am trying to push through and have the courage to do the same with my choice to be a Wedding consultant. I also have a friend who's blog I read and she wrote that Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. I need to remember that! And just keep going!
(http://www.singinbliss.blogspot.com/)But yeah! Thats first good news that is giving me so much to do! If anyone out there who has insight on how to start a business, like taxes and networking or marketing or anything like that, I would really appreciate the input, help, advice and support.

The next so much is how much I have to do in life in general! House cleaning, Laundry, Dishes, Grocery shopping, Three soon to be four jobs(!), etc.. Seems like I aways have to keep going to stay ahead of the curve! Which is fine but only because I get a few moments where I can relax with James.

Bringing me to my next so much! I love him So much! He goes so far out of his way to make sure I am happy, taken care of and know I'm loved. Words can't describe how happy he makes me just by walking into the room. Maybe I'm corny but I still get butterflies when I see him or he holds my hand. All i can say is I love him, a lot, SO MUCH!!

I feel like so many things are happening so quickly but its a good thing. The only thing that would make my life better would be to have Owen with me and my family a little closer. But My sister Brittany is coming to visit next week and I am so excited and we will have so much fun!

Well thats all I've got!

I'm thankful for 1) my fear of failure pushing me to try instead of just give up. 2) People like Debbie who go above and beyond to help me on my path in life just because. and 3) for the words and lives of those before me inspiring me to do my best and keep trying. 4) and Thank you SO MUCH to Debbie for all her wonderful help. Christen for her constant support and inspiring words, thoughts and messages, and Brittany for our daily chats, support, love and friendship.

Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than
unsuccessful people with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve
the problems of the human race.

This weekend was pretty good. Friday we went out to sushi and played night games, It was really fun and delicious, lol. On Saturday I worked a Wedding and my teacher let me take the lead on a lot of things.. It was fun and I liked it a lot. Yesterday, James and I had our first Date day. We went to breakfast and then went and saw Letters to Juliet and How to Train Your Dragon. Letters kinda sucked but train your Dragon was awesome and makes me only want to ever watch kids movies.. they always seem to be the best movies coming out. It was just amazing to have a whole day with just James and I. I love Date days. :)

I got a new suit from Dillard's the other day!! only $57 for a Dillard's suit!!! Freaking awesome. I'll post a picture soon. I also have great news.. I have a venue to grow my wedding business out of. Its awesome and I really am a Wedding planner now!! lol. Its crazy to think about and I just have to remember my quote for today. Gotta remember to be Persistent and Press on when I feel discouraged or too young or anything like that. Press On!
Todays quote has special meaning to me. I have lost sight of my dreams for the last week and need to start living to what I want. I had a moment/opportunity, where I could have had my wildest dreams come true and instead I lost sight of my dreams and may have forever lost the opportunity. Quite an earth shattering event to have happen. Its opened my eyes how to even the giving up whats important for a second can change your life. I hope to never loose sight of my dreams, goals, hopes and aspirations again. I had the chance to have the life I've imagined and I let it slip through my fingers because I was focused on less important things and thinking they were important. I do not want to loose sight of what I want and being the best person I can be again. I need to live this quote and it has just become my quote to shape the rest of the year.

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined."-Henry David Thoreau

Today I am thankful for a lot of things. Everyday is not a perfect day, in fact everyday is not a motivational kind of day either. Today is one of those not so good days... So its one of those days that I especially need to say how thankful I am for 1) Tears. Crying sucks and totally wipes me out but without them I think would feel even worse. 2) An amazing Boyfriend who is unwilling to let my craziness deter him from loving me. and 3) Del Taco Fried Carmel Cheese Cake.
Last night and today have been less than the best to put it lightly. But James has been really good about me being all hormonal and crazy and over thinking and stressing out. He even brought me the amazing-ness from Del Taco. If you haven't had those Carmel babies.. oh they are the best.
Part of all my stressing is my crazy desire to be the best at a lot of things. its kind of become an obsession. which is not good. so the quote for the day fits well for helping remember that I am an individual person and I just have to be the best me I can be and learn to let everything else go.

I'm back. Things have been hectic and I just kept not getting around to updating on here. The latest and most exciting new bits are: James and I moved. We now live in a nice town home, shared with his brother. I am almost done with a Wedding Consulting Class and I love the class and wish is wasn't coming up on the end. I got my transcripts so now I just need to take my butt down to the school and register. And finally, I am on a big self improvement/empowerment kick. I walk 3-5 miles daily. I drink at least two big bottles of water a day. I find a daily inspirational quote. I write three things I am thankful for daily and I read or listen to something self improving for at least 30 minutes a day. So I'm going to try to write often in this blog with positive things. starting with my daily quotes and thankful list.

Today I am thankful for 1)Pillows! I wish I could lay my head back down and fall asleep on this fluffy thing. Its the small pleasures that make life worth living.. or sleeping through! LOL
2) Old Spice Body Wash. I love the smell and yesterday James wore the blanket I have on now, And it smells deliciously of Old Spice. (big sniff and sigh) and finally 3) I am thankful for cuddling time. I love to cuddle and watch movies or just plain cuddle! Yesterday I didn't get much cuddle time due to work and different sleep schedules so today I am missing cuddling and Thankful for cuddle time when I get it.

Yesterdays walk was to the Library and I got a few books. A hypnosis sleep book on insomnia for James. And a few wedding planning books and entrepreneurial books for me. It helps to walk with books on my back. The extra weight makes it feel more like a work out then just a leisurely walk to the library. I just finished a book called Kissing A Frog, Four Steps to Finding Comfort Outside Your Comfort Zone by author, former Ms America and ESPN reporter, Sharlene Hawke. It was a great book of encouraging stories and good values, all based on taking every opportunity you can even if it is outside your comfort zone. She is a Utahan and it was really cool to read all the encouraging stories she had of athletes who had achieved their goals by pushing themselves out of their comfort zones. I highly recommend reading it even if you don't think you need or want to extend your comfort zone. Its empowering and a fun read.

Well that is all I have for now! Oh and Ps- the name of the blog changed because the Motivated. Enthusiastic. Positive. Inspired. is M.E.P.I. for short. and M.E.P.I. would be Tay pie! Get it?

Its been a while since my last post... things are going well here in St Gezzy. (lol) Christmas was good although I really really REALLY missed my family. I got a hour phone call with them and talked to everyone of them so that was nice. I felt bad because I couldn't make it up for Christmas... by the time the opportunity was given it would have been too late to change plans with out causing issues with other people. But overall I had a good Christmas. I got two amazing gifts that stand out above the rest. The first is the large sum of money my parents gave me for Christmas. It was such a blessing to get it and it is all going to bills and the eye doctor but I am so grateful for it and to be able to see again! I'm in need of new glasses and contacts so it all works out perfectly. The second gift I got was one from James. I had been needing a new journal for about a month and couldn't find one I liked (I'm very picky when it comes to journals. It can't have any words on it, like any quotes of inspiration or anything, not even titling it, journal.. I think that's so lame) Its gotta be big enough to write in, but small enough to carry in a bag. And not ugly! Pretty enough to make me want to write in it but not so pretty I feel I'm defacing it with my horrible hand writing. Picking out a journal is always very tough for me.. anyways, I was saying I was in the market for a new journal. So for Christmas James got me two! He prefaced the whole thing by saying i could return them and he would understand because he knows how picky I am over them.. But they were perfect and to be honest, much nicer than I would have ever gotten for myself. They both are Italian leather and smell amazing. Both are brown.. one dark brown with a hard back binding/cover.. its littler but looks just awesome. He said he got it for me because it looks like a real book and because the cuts in it look like architecture and he knows how I like buildings and things. the second book is a lighter brown with a bronze paint over it and it looks incredible. Both are gorgeous and perfect journals. It made for an awesome Christmas present because he put so much thought into it and it was a gift of something I needed, wanted, is useful and will last for years and not take up tons of space.

I'm trying to sale my car. its the biggest payment I have to make monthly and since I now work from home, its not like I really need it. If I do need a car I can always borrow one of the other 5 people's who live here or bum a ride from them or take the bus. 2010 I think will be my year of minimizing. After moving so much.. I've found I don't need half my stuff, and with lower pay and trying to afford to go back to school... it makes sense to try and lower all my bills.

Its been a really crazy year. A hard year. Getting through a divorce has pretty much sucked. Moving to Cali was a good thing as it made me figure a lot of things out about myself and its been crazy being on my own. I'm glad to be back in Utah and its weird to think I'm living in St George. I've truly learned to appreciate the value of my family. I miss all of the m everyday and It is so hard when I have to say i can't come visit for financial reasons. By far the weirdest turn of the new year has been me Dating James. He was going through a divorce long before I was and I never thought anything of it. I'd often talked with his mom through the years and when I said I was getting divorced she suggested he and I talk to each other... more for moral support, someone closer to my age going through the same kinda thing. He became a close friend and a comforting shoulder to call up. When he moved to LA to make sure I'd be safe I was shocked but also very happy to have a friend in that horrible place. Things progressed to where everyone thought they would and he and I began dating. He has helped me through a very hard time in my life and I am very grateful for his friendship and support. It is though him that I was able to move back to Utah and not worry about finding a place to live. Living with his family so soon into our new relationship is weird but not so bad... its a lot like in Cali when he had his room I had mine and we would hang out in the common areas.. except now his mom hangs out with us lol. It was been crazy and a trying year on many of us.. but I want to say thank you to my family.. thank you for always being there and for supporting my journey to happiness, espcially Brittany and Aubrie. You guys have been my constant support and I always look forward to talking with you both in the mornings. Thank you to Jessi for being my best Friend and for always listening and to James for helping me more then he could ever know and for being a good person and friend above everything else.

As I go into the new year I look forward to becoming a stronger and better me. overcoming more obstacles and learning Even more about my self.
